What People's Say About Place

A really good place for some great Dosa (& South Indian varieties) and tiffin options in particular when it comes to Veg restaurants in the neighborhoods of Artesia. The restaurant lives up to its reputation for the original Tirupati branch. THE FOOD: We got Sambar Vadai, Paneer Dosa, Batura with Chole and Batura with Paneer along with rose milk. Sambar Vadai was spicy to some extent and probably because it was hot we felt more. It’s soft and nicely made. The Paneer dosa was very good, and the paneer tasted great as well. The Batura was excellent. Not so oily and seemed like it was fried in fresh oil. The Paneer gravy was kind of decent not the best but the Chole was so good. Been here 6 years before and it still remained the same: good at quality and quantity. Rose milk was usual like any other place. SERVICE & AMBIENCE: The place is well lit and gives a typical Indian hotel vibe. The restaurant gives a nice feel of having a good home made food especially the spice levels are pretty normal and sits well on your tummy. The staffs and waiters are extremely friendly, fast and make things easier while ordering/ serving and they still allow you to sit and dine past the closing time (unlike SriKrishnaVilas of Cumming,GA who really need to learn from them on how to value customers). Excellent customer service. BOTTOMLINE: A very traditional South Indian restaurant that excels when it comes to South Indian food items and tiffin, with some amazing Customer service and great ambience with good quality food and priced reasonably well for the quantity offered. Would highly recommend. MY PICKS FOR YOU: Dosa varieties, Chole Batura, South Indian Meals

Good south indian vegetarian food .free parking available vengatesh perumal idol like I am in Thirupathi or USA. There is outside seating as well. I can see the nice and big Aquarium where kids can enjoy their time and the capacity of the restaurant is around 150 seating. Filter coffee has taken my heart as it is very tasty I like for bhimas south indian vegetarian food

Great dosa place, ghee roast was amazing and so were idlis

I had mini tiffin here and enjoyed the thin crispy pleasant dosa which is perfect not oily. The pongal is my favorite, it reminded me of a famous restaurant that is located right before the entrance. Although Chutney’s has room for improvement but by no means they are not bad. I enjoyed dosa with tomato chutney.

This restaurant is also called as Bhimas on some maps. The food, service and ambiance was okay for a Indian restaurant but the host was bit rough and insisted on tips and again on cash tips which was a bit of turn off; he hurried with our orders too. I would recommend training your staff to be patient with the customers. Has on-site parking and clean restrooms.

The food tastes good. Especially I love the South indian Madras Filter coffee which I would buy at least 5 times a week. One of the best best vegetarian food in Artesia. Highly recommended.

The food is really delicious and reminds me of the authentic flavors of south India. Definitely recommend rava dosa and chole batura.
